Troubleshooting:

The TW401 earphones are NOT made to withstand heavy sweating. They do not have a water resistance rating, and therefore we do NOT recommend using them for sports/fitness/gym. Please see our SPW301 Sports Earphones for your exercise needs.

Issues Charging:

  • Upon receiving the package, the case needs to be charged at least ONE hour and then earbuds need to be charged minimum of TWO hours before using them
  • Make sure the tiny piece of plastic on the yellow contacts on both earbuds is removed before charging them in the case
  • If the original charging cable is lost or damaged, you will need to replace it with a hi-res cable. A low quality cable will cause charging problems for the case
  • Lithium battery needs to get charged every 3 months while not using. Some batteries might incur problems after a long time of not getting charged

Reset connection to device:

  1. Begin with both earbuds in the charging case
  2. Disconnect Bluetooth on your device
  3. Delete the earphones from your device's memorized Bluetooth device list
  4. Take both earbuds out at the same time
  5. Connect back to Bluetooth

Reset earbuds:

  1. Take both earbuds out of the case at the same time
  2. Click both earbuds 5 times (this is the reset method)
  3. Put both earbuds back into the charging case (re-activating)
  4. Take out both earbuds again (both earbuds flashing blue lights means pairing, until one light goes off, which means they paired successfully)

Reset both connection and earbuds [for pairing issues, music not playing, etc]:

  1. Make sure the charging case and earbuds are fully charged
  2. Begin with both earbuds in the charging case
  3. Disconnect Bluetooth on your device
  4. Delete the earphones from your device's memorized Bluetooth device list
  5. Take both earbuds out of the case at the same time
  6. Click both earbuds 5 times (this is the reset method)
  7. Put both earbuds back into the charging case (re-activating)
  8. Take out both earbuds again (both earbuds flashing blue lights means pairing, until one light goes off, which means they paired successfully)
  9. Connect back to Bluetooth 

Pairing issues [if only one side is pairing]:

  1. Begin with both earbuds in the charging case
  2. Open the lid and note which of the earbuds is blinking
  3. Press and hold the top button of the earbud that is not blinking until it starts blinking too
  4. Remove both earbuds from the case and they should both begin pairing with the device

Contact issues [earbuds not firmly contacting with charging case]:

  1. Place earbuds into charging case
  2. Close the lid
  3. As long as the lid can be closed properly, earbuds will get charged (charging case indicator light on = charging)

Other:

  • The buttons do NOT work unless the earbuds are connected to a device
  • Make sure the charging case has enough power to charge both earbuds
  • Make sure the charging pin is cleaned with alcohol
  • Make sure the golden connect port and the golden charge pin is clean

Great headphones--just what I was looking for!

I was in the market for a pair of wireless earbuds just to wear when I go on walks/runs. Since I would be using normal Apple headphones the rest of the time, I didn't want to drop a lot of money, and these Strauss & Wagner earbuds fit my preferred price point. After having used these for a few weeks, I can say I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've had no trouble pairing the earbuds with my phone, nor have I had any issues with the earbuds running out of charge. I mostly use these to listen to audiobooks and podcasts and the sound is good, although when I do listen to music, I do wish there was a little more bass. Additionally, these earbuds fit snugly and they also do a pretty good job of canceling out ambient noise, which is a plus. While these earbuds may not be the best wireless earbuds out there, they are perfect for what I needed and their price can't be beat!

On the fence.

Sound quality is amazing to me but the connection is a pain, no auto connection that I can figure out and they won’t charge unless they are fully dead I guess? I guess they’re okay.

Just ok

Touch button too sensitive. Minor adjustment to make them fit better in my ears result in pausing music or powering off. Power on/power off/connected voice casting is very annoying. Weird female asian voice. Sound is good though.
